The cottage is sited next to the main farmhouse where our owner lives. Wide stone walls keep the house cool in the Summer and there are plenty of shady areas to relax and enjoy the sea views and a large private garden with mature trees, aromatic herbs and pretty flowers to explore. Over 40 years ago, Tony and Uta sailed to the island and whilst exploring discovered this peaceful old farmhouse with its wonderful views over the West coast of Kefalonia. They decided to stay and restore the property. 40 years on, the house has been passed down a generation and is still one of the most magical places to stay in North of the Island. Now under the full management of Ionian Property Services Greece, a full refurbishment is underway of the house to upgrade the facilities and offer an even better experience. The Cottage's accommodation is private with stunning views west over the Ionian Sea. There is a large double bedroom and a twin room that share a bathroom. Access to the twin room is through the double bedroom. There is a small, simple kitchen that has its own entrance. Outside is a covered veranda with a table and bench for alfresco dining and a separate 'outdoor living room' with sofas and shade.
