Shopping

Supermarkets & Mini-markets
There are two supermarkets in Fiskardo and both are well stocked. The supermarket just off Tslentis Square (a small, modern shopping development in the centre of town) is probably the largest in the north of Kefalonia and whilst prices are higher here than in the big supermarkets in Argostoli, they can be more competitive than some other supermarkets in the village.

The village of Magganos, just outside Fiskardo has two mini-markets and has four tavernas serving traditional Greek food.

Post Office

The Post Office is also in Tslentis Square and open between of 12:00hrs and 14:00hrs. Most shops will sell stamps though and the post boxes in Greece are yellow.

Bakery

There are a couple of bakeries to be found in Fiskardo selling fresh bread daily.

Boutiques

There are plenty of lovely boutique shops to browse in Fiskardo selling clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags, hats and souvenirs.

Greek Produce

Near to Elis Restaurant is a little shop selling Greek produce which is worth a visit.

Chandlers/ Fishing Shop

Full of useful equipment from fishing to sailing to diving - Makis is very a friendly and helpful man - you'll be in good hands.

ATM & Currency exchange
There are three ATM’s in Fiskardo and one in Assos and they are normally well stocked with cash. Alternatively, Pama Travel which is above the Captain’s Cabin restaurant on the water front will exchange money for you. Pama Travel hours of service are 09:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 until 21:00. The nearest bank is in Agia Euphemia.
