HOLIDAY HOME AND VILLA RENTALS IN KEFALONIA SINCE 2008
Villa Artemis | Sleeps 4 | from £800.00 per week
Villa Artemis is a lovely simple villa located in the old village of Antipata.
A couple of minutes off the main road but still close to shops tavernas and the stunning fishing harbour of Fiskardo. The upper balconies are the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over the Ionian Sea. Both Levkas Island and the beautiful Greek sunset can be enjoyed whilst sipping on local wine!
The house is simple but spacious. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area and doors open out on to a shaded veranda with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Upstairs are two bedrooms. A double bedroom (air-conditioned) with an en-suite shower room and doors opening out onto the upper balcony. The second bedroom is a twin room (air-conditioned) with two single beds also with doors opening out on to the upper balcony (shared with double bedroom).
Outside is a small private garden with a 7m x 3m pool with metal ladder, a sunbathing area with a covered balcony set up for alfresco dining.
The driveway is shared with the sister house immediately next door (Villa Regina also in our portfolio) with plenty of room for cars.
Surrounding the property are several beautiful mature olive trees.
Both houses (Villa Regina and Villa Artemis) can be booked together subject to availability.
The nearest shop and taverna are a short 2 minute drive away in the village. The picturesque fishing town of Fiskardo with its brightly painted neo-classical houses clad in a dazzling array of bougainvillea is a favourite anchorage for yachts and is about a 5 min drive away. There are many beautiful beaches - Foki Beach, Emblissi, Agia Jerusalem and Alaties - all within a short drive.

Guest reviews
"We honestly thought we would never get here. We raise a beer to you and the team for somehow getting through Covid and getting us here.
The sunset from the villa terrace is just awesome. We met the owner and her mother and they are lovely. They gave us eggs and berries from their garden. This is how lovely the northern part of this island is. We are finally relaxing".

Beaches we like to visit
Within 5 minutes drive
Emblissi beach just outside of Fiskardo is easily accessible, has great swimming, wonderful views across to Lefkas and Meganisi. There's good parking although it does get busy in July and August.
Kimilia beach is a hidden gem accessible only by boat or by foot by following a winding forest path. We recommend you take food and as there are no facilities at the beach.
Dafnoudi beach with its crystal clear water is worth the 10-15 minute hike down from where you park. Of course you can also access the beach by boat. We recommend you take food and water as there are no facilities at the beach.
Within 15 minutes drive
Foki beach is in a protected bay with a shady olive grove and a cave to swim to and explore as well as a taverna close-by.
Agia Jerusalem beach is a pebble beach with crystal clear water making for great paddling, swimming and if you like to snorkel it's worth swimming out to the rocks where you will find much more marine life than in the bay itself. In high season sun-beds are available for hire on the beach and there is a taverna serving traditional Greek food.
Alaties beach is small but perfectly formed where you can lap up the sunshine either on the beach itself or on the surrounding rocks. There’s good parking available and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening where you can watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.
